Ask of Me

By: Melissa Lynn

Grain and Wine abound with grace
Walls they break and crumble down
Shattered glass upon the ground -glittering like a diamond sea.
Ask of Me
Ask of Me
Anything
Summer’s gone now, Fall is found -melancholy seeps in like spilled wine on cloth.
Winter’s love inward sound -felicitously approaches…
Ask of Me
Ask of Me
Anything
Generosity overflows with deep affection
Fallowness has ceased -endless abundance proceeds with the season’s turning
Ask of Me
Ask of Me
Anything
Thankful eyes look up, the brilliant sky looks back
shimmering like silver sand -indescribable grace
